Here are some coping strategies for when a bad day hits...

*Have a playlist.

-Any songs that make you feel happy or brings back memories you enjoy.

-Uplifting or upbeat music, but sometimes sad music is more comforting than happy music.

*Get out.

-Cafes, libraries and parks are always great places to go, they are welcoming and comfortable and help to give a more positive surrounding.

-This could also just mean leaving your room in general. Maybe going to a cleaner space or somewhere with fresh air.

*Distract yourself.

-Writing is a great way to keep your mind busy along with your hands.

-Baking or cooking are great ways, comfort food can help a lot just be sure to not overeat or stuff yourself.

*Take care of yourself.

-Take a shower or bath and then do some sort of self care relaxer or body care. This is important, because sometimes bad days can have a sad affect on your body and you want to be sure to take care of yourself especially when you feel low.

-Eat right and just check in on your mental state.
